Vancouver City Council Approves Its First Official Development Plan

At the March 11, 2026, Public Hearing, Vancouver City Council approved its first city-wide Official Development Plan (ODP). The ODP will replace the Vancouver Plan and set land-use policy for the entire city. It serves the same role as an Official Community Plan (OCP) in other municipalities across BC.
